Family Promise of Lower Bucks - Building communities, strengthening lives.

Our partner is holding its annual Box city bringing awareness to our youth and community about homelessness…

On Dec. 6th, youth from several local congregations will be gathering at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 1700 Makefield Rd., Yardley, PA for the 10th annual Box City event. All are invited to a free concert at 8:00 pm by “The Duck Inside”. Following the concert, the youth and their chaperones will sleep on the front lawn of the church in boxes. Their goal is to raise awareness to the issue of homelessness in our community, as well as to raise funds. Freewill donations will be accepted and the funds raised will be split between the non-profit foundation, Family Promise of Lower Bucks and the Family Services Homeless Shelter in Levittown.
Please join us for the concert while supporting these young people at this important event! For more information contact rev_st@yahoo.com

We at Family Promise of Lower Bucks would like to sincerely Thank You for supporting us thru our awareness and fundraising campaign “Tuck One In” last month. We have had the tremendous opportunity to meet many supporters in our communities at our fundraising dine outs, our outreach events and communicating on our website and Facebook pages.

We would like to thank our gracious hosts, Buffalo Wild Wings in Langhorne, Kris Croix in Fairless Hills, Chick-fil-A in Oxford Valley, Millers Ale House in Langhorne and our upcoming host The Garden of Eatin in Levittown (11/12 4 to 7 pm).

Both WBCB and The Bucks County Courier Times have been very supportive in helping us get the word out about our mission and events. Thank you.

Our partners, many congregations who have agreed to work with us to help prepare to provide services to families with school aged children in Lower Bucks.

The South Eastern Pennsylvania Wrestling Club (SEPA) for a generous donation of their annual marketing fund.

Most of all to all the individuals that have made donations, attended one of our events or help us spread the word letting people know that even here in Bucks County there are far too many children that have no warm comfortable bed of their own, aren’t sure where their next hot meal will come from, have no permanent address because of homelessness. Thank you!
